Spring is almost here and with that comes so much besides just the clocks changing. There’s warmer weather, countdown to summer and looks we can take from the spring runway. And this year there were super sweet candy-colored pastels from the runway. And we loved them.
Sure you’re likely not going to be dipping into a wardrobe of Preen, Hermes, Chanel and Victoria Beckham that came down the catwalks. But you can use them to inspire what you will be wearing–from clothes to shoes to what you do with your hair and makeup. Check out what we are talking about.
Look for on-trend pastel jeans like some of the pastels from the runway. But don’t think you need to go head to toe in these pretty light hues. One of our fashion bibles, Teen Vogue, suggests pairing them with a metallic or neutral top.
So you don’t run the risk of looking like the Easter bunny with the pastels from the runway, just accessorize in pastels. Think of sunglasses, a fabulous scarf or even a pair of light pink, baby blue or mint green sneaks.
Any pastel top from a crop top to a light sweater, pairs perfectly with capri jeans or a jean skirt. Match the outfit with silver toed ballet flats or a the ubiquitous pair of cool white tennis shoes.

One of the hottest hair trends is rainbow highlights and balayage. Do it with just a touch of one color or subtly work a few pieces in. You will definitely be feeling spring with these pastels from the runway in no time.
We don’t think you need anything to make yourself more beautiful, but if you’re going to wear makeup try some pastel shades. A swipe of baby blue shadow or barely there pink lipstick is subtle and super flattering.
